Florida Audubon Society

Audubon Florida, the modern successor to the Florida Audubon Society founded in 1900, is the state program of the National Audubon Society, working to protect birds and the places they need across Florida and the hemisphere. It coordinates roughly 44 local chapters and 139,000 members and supporters, running coastal stewardship, wetland restoration, policy advocacy, and research work at sites including Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and the Everglades Research Station.
