Florida Conservation Group Inc

Florida Conservation Group Inc. is a nonprofit based in Venice and Myakka City, Florida, made up of scientists, ranchers, and conservation and policy experts working to preserve Florida's water, wildlife, and way of life. It advocates for science-based land conservation funding and applies the best available science to protect the state's highest-priority ranchlands and forests, guiding landowners through the acquisition process. In 2024 it reported distributing more than $2 million in grants and helping protect over 100,000 acres across four newly protected areas.
