Florida Earth Foundation is a West Palm Beach-based nonprofit, public-private partnership that acts as an 'honest broker,' bringing together decision-makers, scientists, and the public around South Florida natural resource issues centered on the theme of stewardship, organized into three focal points: growth and land use, water, and energy. Its programs include the Florida Earth Project (academic and public education courses run with the University of Florida), the Florida Earth Journal chronicling South Florida and Everglades restoration issues, Decision Makers Forums convening federal, state, and local officials, and the Everglades Education Consortium coordinating regional educational institutions.
