Forest History Society Inc

The Forest History Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational institution based in Durham, North Carolina, that identifies, collects, preserves, interprets, and disseminates materials documenting the history of interactions between people, forests, and related resources such as timber, water, soil, wildlife, and recreation. It maintains the Alvin J. Huss Archives and Carl A. Weyerhaeuser Library, connecting forest history to present-day forestry, conservation, and policy.
