Forest Society of Maine

Forest Society of Maine is a land trust working to permanently conserve forestland in Maine's North Woods through conservation easements that balance ecological protection, sustainable timber management, and public recreational access. Current initiatives include the roughly 78,000-acre Magalloway conservation project, climate resilience work, and collaboration with Wabanaki communities on land stewardship.
