Forestlands Conservation Foundation

The Forestlands Conservation Foundation is a Charlotte, NC-based 501(c)(3) that protects critical forest land in the Eastern temperate deciduous forest ecoregion across seven states (NC, SC, VA, eastern WV, KY, TN, and southern OH). It uses conservation science and geographic data to identify priority tracts, then purchases and transfers them to partner organizations for long-term management as nature preserves, backed by legal protections like conservation easements and deed restrictions.
